Simon Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Hi You will need to determine the 5v and ground pins. These will have the biggest resistance between them and the resistance will not change when the sensor is turned. The remaining pin will be the signal. If the TPS reading goes in the wrong direction just swap the 5V and ground. Quote
yoman Posted April 14, 2011 Author Report Posted April 14, 2011 Ok cool, Ill give it go. Just one more thing, Do i just need the key in the on postion? Quote
Fredrik Pettersson Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 As you're measuring the TPS you will not need any power supplied , just put your multimeter leads on the pinouts of the TPS and determine the pins. Then look up which wire is 5v from the link and attach that to the appropriate pin , do thesame with gnd and sensor wire. Quote
