Turn on/off aux output durring engine runnig?

Hi there,

Is it problem to turn on/off aux output /in this case boost solenoid/ during engine running? I tried on idle and when applying change, engine start running a little unstable for a second and after that everything it was OK.
My ECU is Xtreme G4.

it is very common for this to happen no harm done
