Stewart Brown Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 After a lot of consideration I have decided to purchase a G4 extreme for my Land Cruiser. The G4 will run the engine while the original ECU will run the the Auto Trans, dash and other auxiliaries. My question is what is the best way to wire the existing factory sensors Cam, Crank, Knock etc. into the G4 without the Toyota ECU throwing codes from these missing sensors? Also does anyone have a base map that they would share to cut down setup time. Thanks Quote
Simon Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 For cam and crank only share the signal and dont connect in the grounds. For temp inputs you will need to use a custom cal and feed the signal to AN volt channels. Knock can not be shared so will need separate sensors. Often in piggy back cases you never know what the factory system is going to throw at you. Quote
