G3 Linkplus BOOT mode problem

Hi.

I have a G3 plus ECU that has an issue.  The ECU worked fine utnil I loaded in a old map. From an earlier type firmware (1,5,1)I found out later. The ECU has 1,9,2.

The map loaded in with a few messages popping up, Check limiters etc.  But when I powerd the Ecu off and on again it went into boot mode.  I tried reloading the firmware but got this message in the end:

ERROR: Failed to configure main code startup.

Tried to load the firmware many many (20+) times and finaly it went OK.  Got online on the ECU, but when I turned the power off/on again it was straight into boot mode again.   Reloaded the firmware a bunch more times and got it OK again. Went online and loaded in a new map and saved.  But the same thing when I power it off/on...

what is going on here??????
