Bill Dillard1436215396 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I have a G3 I am putting into a 91 (Series 5) RX7. I am rather confused about how to wire the trailing coils. I am setting it up as wasted spark on the leading coil so I need to wire IGN2 to the trailing #2 and IGN3 to the trailing #1. That seem simple enough, but what I can find on the trailing system says that the two lines going to the coil are IGNs-T (ignitions select trailing) and IGNt-T (Ignition timing - Trailing). So how do I hook up the link to this system or do I have to change out the ignitions system as well. THanks for the help. Quote
Simon Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 On the series 5 you will need to swap out the factory igniter. This runs a toggle system for selecting which coil to fire which we dont support. You can use either one of our igniters or the later S6/7/8 igniter. Quote
