adam bogus
i have a linkplus ecu to wire into a 99-00 wrx, just want to clear up on a few things first to do with the ecu triggers on the cam and crank. is trigger 1 and two set to be for either cam or crank, should i be using one in particular for trigger 1 and for trigger 2? And is there any need to modify the triggers on the gears at all as the manual states a certain amount of pulses is only required for engine position and synchronisation signal, and the wrx cam and crank gears have more than one signal per rev on the cam and crank. will this cause any issues for me? Simon
Trigger one must be crank sensor and trigger two is for the cam. The ECU will also require the matching subaru sub-board. A photo of the ECU with lid off will let us confirm it has the correct sub-board.
