Link G4 extreme for subaru with DBW

Dear All,

i had one Link G4 extreme and i want install to my subaru with DBW .

but sometimes i read if you had silver box you can connect directly and if you had red box you need one module for DBW.

why 2 configurtaion different? when i bought it i want use e throtlle and now i am not sure i can use and nobody tell me this difference. 

i think i had red box

If the red box can not connect directly DBW what is in PIN aux 9 & aux10?

If the color of your G4 is red then you have the red box.

aux 9&10 only exist on the silver box
