Delay in Flat Shift for Air Actuator?

I am considering the G4 xtreme for my drag bike. One function I will be using is the flat shift. The gear change will be done by an air actuator. Is it possible to set a delay on the shift before killing the engine for a flat shift so the actuator can build up pressure and complete the shift succesfully? normally I would run an inline switch on the actuator that wont trigger the shift until there is pressure built up in the actuator but I don't have that ability now.

You can use the timer function but I suspect it likely it will not be needed. Ideally you need the engine to cut a fraction before the change so it can unload the current gear to make disengagement easier.
