David Green
I am getting on a reasonably frequent basis a MAP ground link sensor error - What could be causing this ? I have looked at the logs and can't see any errors being detected - MAP seems to be registering consistently.
ashesman
That error is caused by the MAP input reading a very low voltage. In some cases, engines with very high vacuum can drive the MAP sensor voltage very low (typically during overrun). The important thing to check in your logs is that the MAP value is stable when this error occurs. If the error happens for long enough, the ECU will go into "MAP fault" mode and lock the MAP to a predetermined value (50 kPa). Another option is a poor wiring connection that is causing the sensor voltage to come and go...
