Using 1jz standard coils with waste spark

Can i fire two of the standard "coil on plug" coils with one ignition output from a 3 channel ignitor? Instead of using the dual post coils and leads,

Hi Mike,

It may work, but I do not recommend it. Your best option would be to get another 3 channel ignitor and share the ECU ignition signals to the ignitors. That or swap to wasted spark coils.
