PitBull
Currently my Storm is set to get it's MAP reading from AN Volt1 but I'd like to utilize the internal MAP sensor. Could you point me to where I make this switch in PCLink? Thanks
integrale8v
AN volt 5 is the internal map sensor.
PitBull
Thanks for the info. Scouring back through the manuals I see now where that is indicated. What "MAP Sensor type" should be selected when using the internal MAP sensor? sardengineering
The internal MAP sensors on the Storm ecus was a 4 BAR, it's the only 4BAR in the drop down list for MAP sensor types. What you can also do is complete the calibration test to make sure there are no errors and the data is sensible. Cheers!
Grant Baker
Does the "NEW" Black Storm also have the internal MAP Sensor? Can't see it in the picture, or in the spec (unless I'm blind, which I could be!)
sardengineering
Good day. Please note that the new Black Edition Storm doesn't have an on-board MAP sensor as the previous Strom ECU had. However, there are some amazing advancement which have been added to make it well and truly amazing value for money.Should you have any further questions or curiosities please fee free to post them at your convenience. Thanks again for your interest, cheers! Grant Baker
Thanks.I'm not bothered personally, but it's not clear from the spec. In some ways, it's a great idea to keep the sensor "external".
