tce
I was looking at using the Thunder to run a 6.2L Ford Boss motor, which is set up with the same sensors/actuators as the coyote(minus 2 cam actuators). Was wondering if anyone here had any experience with running a G4+ on one of the motors and what it all takes? Thanks
Scott
Hi TCE,We originally added the Coyote trigger mode for Blaine Carmena. Since then I've known a few other dealers to successfully use this trigger mode also. Could be best to contact Blaine:http://carmenaperformance.blogspot.co.nz/Scott
blaine@carmenaperformance
Sorry to chime in late on this. We have used a G4 on a Raptor several years ago with some results. There were many problems with integration that were not related to the Link. The ecu seemed to run the engine just fine. It was the CAN system that made the project a bit of a bear. I have no doubt that running the engine alone will not be a problem.
