turbodailydan
hi guys. Running a vipec plugin on my r32 gtr, from what I gather there is no knock control on this ecu? Looking for direction as to what I need to get this rigged up with knock control? Cheers Dan
Simon
Hi what is the serial number on the ECU some of the V series units supported knock.
turbodailydan
Where is the serial located? Through the software?
Adamw
Yes, you can view it there. When online, in VTS, go to >help>ECU information. It wouldnt hurt to tell us the ECU type and the mainboard revision while you are at it. Edited May 30, 2017 by Adamw

turbodailydan
Awesome thanks. Do you know if this Will support lambda aswell?
Adamw
yes but you will need a analog lambda controller, you cannot just connect the lambda probe direct to the ECU. In the V series software the "lambda" parameter was called "wideband".
turbodailydan
Will the ecu be able to use this for controlling fueling or is this just for use on logging? And regarding the controller, will any afr gauge/controller be compatible or is there a specific one needed? Thanks
Simon
Yes closed loop, and quick tune can be done using this input. Only requirement of the controller is that it has a voltage output between 0-5 volts.
paulr33
Hi danive got an innovate controller and lambda sensor and the innovate controller has a 0-5v analogue output that you wire to one of the vipec analogue inputs for "wideband".
