Uploading a password protected tune

Dear mates,

I have a Vipec V44 ecu, it is already tuned by some tuner and the tune is password protected. I have "saved it as", and now I have it on my desktop as a separate file. I want to upload another base tune and adjust it myself. My question is, can I upload back the password protected tune to the ecu, or it will ask me to put the password first ? 

I don't want to attempt to try it myself, as I am afraid after I upload my tune, I wont be able to reupload the password prtoected tune, and I end up having to fetch the password which is quite impossible.

Yes you can load in a password protected tune back into your ecu without knowing the password.
