It was the jumpers. I was running a sti ecu before, so thought It would need sti jumpers. Now i have a issue, software and dash showing no revs. But working on original ecu.

Hi. I have a subaru with g4+ wrx v7-v9 After a engine disaster, rebuilt engine is back in. So I now been able to put my new link g4+ in to my car. USB is working fine, no yellow symbol next to driver, using port 7. But all singer is the below error message in the attached picture. The car will run on the original ecu(just lol(new injects and no lambda) so I know I have no power issues. It's a brand new ecu, not even unlocked yet. I've checked the plug for usb on board and is connected correctly. After reading around on the forum I'm starting to think the ecu does not work? Any ideas?
