  1. Hi Dave.

Dave to the rescue as always :) .

So the IAT sensor, I have no idea what type it is but how ever I've taking a quick photo of it and have attached it to this message. You'll probably know what type it is.

Last, the car does shut down on me but in a mysteries weird kind of way. Like for instants, ill be driving around for a whole day on a long trip no problems. The next day up the road and back no problems. The same day start it up, go to the top of my driveway and the car stops? I don't get it. Wouldn't start up just keeps winding, so left it for about 5mins, started it and away she goes. Hooked it up to the PC and didn't find any errors but the ''ECU Hold Active: The Engine has been shut down'' one that I have always had??? Any ideas??? Someone told me it could be a ignition problem but I've replaced the ignition switch with a new one so I'm stumped if I know what's wrong here.

    Thanks,

    Jono.

  2. Hi.

I've been getting this error and was wondering if anyone knows something or a fix for this?

    Error:

ECU Hold Active: The Engine has been shut down

    Assigned to: Injector Dive 8

    Car: 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR

    Much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Jono.

  3. Hi all,

As you've probably seen already, I've flooded the forums with my car problems. But I've been saved, BIG shout out and thank you to the man @DavidKriedeman for helping me to get my car going again. I highly recommend, if any problems, Daves the answer. Haha. No but honestly this guys a guru, drop him a line or two. Thank You.

    Kind regards,

    Jono.

  4. Hi dave.

Thanks. As for the file above I still can't get the car to start? I've fixed all the errors and sensor are working right now (they were signed to the wrong Chanel) but no go? What else could I be missing?? I've gon through the whole manual to set it up like new again but just keeps winding no fire.

    Regards,

    jono.

  5. Ok (:  I'll only post on this thread. No none of any are tuned. This is what I have done so far. I updated the firmware and loaded the evo 4-8 base file straight out of the folder and it gave me 3 errors. 1) the map sensor 2) the IAT sensor and last 3) an Volt 4 low value error. And plus the fan stays on But I believe that I was told to try and set the polarity to HIGH instead of LOW.  So I will try this tomorrow after work. Sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks dave.

  6. Hi.

So I have lost my original base map file and building another one from scratch. I have loaded the EVO4-8 MAP to my ECU and it came up with a few errors. ive got no idea what these errors are but the car was running fine untill I lost the original MAP :(

Here is the PCL file, if anyone could help me set it up so I can get the car going again would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Jono.
