Guest |153|
Hi guys, I have an FD RX-7 thats mainly used for Hillclimbs, Bitumen rallies and such. It currently using a Microtech LT12 and a Racelogic traction control unit. The car has been very successful and has enabled me to win several state and National Hillclimb Championships. Im keen to upgrade the ECU to something a bit more advanced. Microtech have been promising more features for years but im getting sick of waiting. Do either of the Vi-PEC models suit the FD's crank trigger and do they have the ability to control the Oil metering pump? Is there base maps available or would I need to start from scratch? I do all of the tuning on this car so a base map would be handy. The Vi-PEC looks like a great product, Im keen to find out more Cheers, Glenn
rayhall
Glenn, We are very close to having a plugin ECU board that fits inside the original ECU case for the Series 6 RX7. This will control everything including the oil control. Both the V44 and V88 support the Rotary engines from 2 to 4 rotor. They do this fully sequential with ignition split. Also support for staged injectors. These will also control the oil control valve. Base maps are available. Ray.
