rayhall Posted July 16, 2009 Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 This boat won the 2009 Desert Storm Shootout at lake Havasu, in the USA. It has two big block Chevy engine fitted with Vipec V88 ECU's. The engines make 1615 HP each. The boat is 33 feet long and recorded a speed of 174 mph. The engine was built and tuned by Gary Teauge at GT Performace Marine in the USA. This is a video of the run. He would confirm how much better the V88 is compared to what he used in the past.
