Apex Speed Tech
We did this beautiful E30 BMW M3 with a Vi-PEC V44. This car features custom mil-spec wiring harnesses and a coil-on-plug conversion as well, all done by Apex Speed Technology. Drivability is absolutely flawless, despite the 2.5L, individual throttle body motor with an aggressive cam and nearly 300 NA horsepower! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5782578&id=109569965801
Guest |59|
Would you mind telling me what ignition coils you are using please? Are you running standard crank triggers?
Apex Speed Tech
We've actually done 4 of these with Vi-PEC with a variety of ignition coils. We've done the stock crank trigger as well as 60-2's. Regards, Neel
Guest |59|
Dear Neel, Could you suggest one of them ignition coils that you used please?
Apex Speed Tech
Mazda 4 cylinder wasted spark coils work well, as do BMW E46 coils, S62 coils and a variety of ND stick coils.

Apex Speed Tech
We now have custom coil adapters that allow people to use these stick coils without any modifications to the valve covers! We sell them with the coils, contact me for pricing as I'm still working out details. Thanks, Neel
