Your engine is making no vacuum so something doesnt seem happy there.  Cam timing out maybe?  Have you confirm ignition timing is correct?

You can try setting the idle ignition control MAP lockout to something like 110Kpa so it still kicks in without vacuum, but it seems more like something is mechanically wrong if it cant produce manifold vacuum at idle.

You can’t see it making any vacuum at all? I thought I could see it making it in the tests, I might verify no leaks with a pressure test.

i checked timing it’s definitely on the money.

its got extremely large cams so it never really made much vacuum on the old plug in either.

  2. I got the engine to run but the e throttle isnt working, throws a code. Can you see this log and my tune let me know what needs to be fixed please?

    "C:\Users\danie\OneDrive\LINK\Link logs\Logs\ethrottle code.llg"

  3. I got the CAN 2 to work i re added the dash and it seems to function can you add the math channels to my dash for AFR and odometer to work?

I have attached a trigger scope and log while cranking does everything look happy?

  4. Purchased SKU 101-0197 the instructions aren't clear on CAN HI or LOW i tried switching the pins between DIG 9 and 10 wanted to run the can 2 path.

The CAN status in run time values is all green i assume I've got that right but in run time values check lambda 1 and temp is 00 is that normal?

When calibrating the e-throttle i get a fault code aux9/10 when doing the pedal, it calibrates fine and then i clear the code and it operates fine, any thoughts on that?

I tried adding my dash 3 times updated all firmware and still can't get it to come up in can set up, the lambda gets recognized, but the dash doesn't. Any Tricks I'm missing?

Can the MATH channels for the dash get afr, odometer added for the dash?

SKU CANSS 101-0210 is what im trying to make work and wire into dig 9/10

  5. How often do the modules die? Is there any way these can be repaired?

Nothing is making sense because the car was running fine before pulling it apart now all of a sudden it’s not.

in the video I was moving the blade with a stick to show that the ecu was reading TP main & sub.

Try this.  I have added AFR to page 1.  The adjusted ODO is on the bottom of page 4, it should as an example it should add 123000km on to the existing builtin odo value.  You can adjust the adder in the math channels.

I think your alarm saving issue was because you had oil press set up as an alarm but you didnt have the oil pressure channel checked in the ecu stream tab.  Wherever you see yellow exclamation marks means there is something assigned incorrectly.

Your wonderful Adam, i will apply this and give it a try.

    Thanks for the support

  7. Few questions upon setting up the dash I'm struggling with

    - Can i change the LAMBDA reading to AFR in race studio ive looked everywhere?

    - I've got speed running to ecu through DI and its working fine in run time values but it's not sending the speed to the dash, do I have to send the DI to a specific plug on the dash?

    - Can i manually add what my cars odometer read before i installed the dash

    - How do i get the gear position reading through CAN?

    changed thermo fans to 90.pclr

  8. Thanks for suggestions Adam, see below changes i made. Let me know your thoughts

What about wire gauge that i run in the harness for coil and inj powers? should it be 14 gauge or thinner?

The 12V i give to the other sensors like the MAC valve ethanol content sensor would it be better if i branched it off the INJ circuit or the COIL circuit or doesnt matter?

    Regards

  9. Hi

Im currently in process of changing my plug n play MX5 ecu to a wire in Xtreme unit,

I have made the below panel to supply the juice to the new set up but i was hoping someone could confirm im on the right path?

The 12V i overlay into the LOOM what gauge should i look to use that will tree off to injectors, coils etc.

Am i on the right path running separate 12V for the INJ & coils like what ive done or should they be looped together after the deutsch plug where it will meet the 12V from the ecu loom.
