Are these definitely connected to CAN2 and not CAN1?

That would explain it, Should the exsisting harness CAN flylead be connected to pins #86 CAN2 L and #94 CAN2 H at the ECU, and if not, do I just splice into these wires for the gauges ?

  2. I have the Speedhut CAN-bus OBDII tacho and their water temperature gauges and a 'Wiring Specialities' engine harness. The harness has an OBDII port and a CAN H and CAN L flylead.

Does anyone know if there any specific settings that have to be configured for them to connect with the ECU ? I've tried both the OBDII port and the flylead so far without success, voltages at both are 3.3v h and 1.8v low, selected ISO 15765 'on' CAN2, Mode is 350z

CAN1 on the ECU is setup for two Link CAN Lambda's and a Strada dash, they work ok

    Thanks

  3. Indeed it was, didn't think that I could go wrong with 4 wires... now dash is working ok.

I have the dash 14 pin plug with obd connector, I previously contacted AiM to see if was ok to splice into this and yes ok and no need for the spare wire of the three into the connector ...Black ,Blue, White. Turns out that the Black wire is CAN L, not the Blue as I'd used :(

    Thanks for your help Adam

  4. Partially Fixed!

I now have both CAN-Lambda's setup. While waiting for some new connectors to land, I worked through the video that KENJAMIN posted (thanks btw). Although the dash resistor was set to be enabled, it doesn't appear to be working so I've disconnected the dash and terminated that end with a 120ohm resistor.

The next question is how can I connect the Strada MSX dash?

Ok, cant tell much from those pics, but I would start by peeling that tape off where I have marked and confirm you have >2.5V on the lambda white wire and <2.5V on the green.

Thanks, I'll update on Monday, hopefully the new connectors have arrived by then

  6. Following a previous post, I've fitted two Link CAN/Lambda modules with CAN to PCB connector and Can plug, also have the MXS Strada dash.

Into CAN setup but 'no devices found'... rechecked all of the wiring several times, continuity from PCB to CAN plug is ok. Just left the dash connected but still not found. Also tried the dash in the OBD port without success.

Without any modules connected the voltage on CAN H is 3.3, CAN L 1.9

    Attached screeshots, help needed lol

  7. Hi, I'm wanting to wire up two wideband sensors (one each bank). Currently have the OEM 4 wire type fitted. What are my best options to do this regarding either replace with Can sensor style and use the canpcp cable, if it's possible to wire two sensors to it, or use something like the LSU 4.9 ?

    Thanks
