  1. It would be nice to have the option to dampen/smoothen the inputs which are being displayed within the PClink software. Certain types on inputs/sensors on AN inputs can fluctuate dramatically making them hard to read while viewing within the software. If you have the option to dampen / smooth over the value being displayed this would enhance readability. (this is only for display within the PClink software and not the logging aspect of the software)

  2. It would be nice to have the option to disable knock control while launch control is active. When launch control is active the popping and banging created by the ignition retard can cause the knock system to register knock counts .. which causes the the knock control system to pull ign timing. This can impact performance for the rest of the run until the motor is switched off or the knock control system resets.

  3. Hi Scott

I am aware that an AUX output can be activated based on a global knock level. However knock control is dependant on may other factors other than just the total knock value. We have to factor in engine load, rpm, engine position , throttle position. Which is why it would be great if the AUX output could be activated based on the status of the knock control system and not just global knock level.

  4. Run the microswitch inline which a digital input and ground.  Enable the 'pullup resistor' within the software and use the run time screen to set the 'Active Edge' such that the Digital Input is active when the clutch is activated.

On a bike I would be more inclined to use the shifter as the activation mechanism for gear cut.

  5. Can the analog limit function on the G2 linkplus ecu be used to monitor oil pressure such that if the oil pressure drops below a specified value for a given RPM it will limit the engine RPM.  Based on what I have seen in the software it seems as if it will RPM limit the engine if the pressure reaches an upper limit and not a lower limit. Can anyone clarify this for me ?
