Hey thanks for your help. Can i not unse a g4 storm as i already have one of those. I only have 4 coils so wouldnt i only need 4 ignition outputs and run wasted spark? Im probably wrong but thought id ask. Cheers

Hey ive made a 26b engine and its carbed and has 4 dual tower coils. I had it set up to run a wasted spark setup with a stupid
megasquirt computer and ive had nothing but trouble so have decided to go tried and true and ask. Do you guys have anything that
will run a 4 rotor? I am only interested in the ignition side. I dont need injection etc. If you dont then i would really like to say if you did i
would buy it haha. Cheers

oh dam it. So i suppose the speedo is useless then haha. ill keep looking round. sure ill find someway i can use it. thanks.

Hey i brought an elictrical speedo for my datsun and instructions say hook it up to the ecu. just wondering (i have lemv5) where if possible do i hook it up to the link ecu? Any ideas. Thanks.

Thnks for your help. Problem fixed and now have spark. Can anyone tell me the settings for the sub board switches on a ca18det and the timing for the engine to i think its a bit out since it wont start but am getting backfireing. Cheers

Thanks alot for your help. Fixed the prob and get a rpm reading now. But when i go to diognostics under the cyl and sync heading they both say no. Is this my cas not getting a reading? also had a cyl and sync error of 5 wile cranking but adjusted the settings on the link panel and its at 2 now which is norm. Sorry to be a bother.

Sorry forgot to say also does anyone know where i can get a inlet temp senser recomended by you? I cant seen to locate one. Cheers

Hey i have a ca18det installed in my datsun with a link and i have a handcontroller and currently the engine wont start. Im wondering when cranking is the controller supposed to say 0rpm? Also with the cam angle senser trig one and two wires are the two wires in each cable supposed to be connected to something? Or just the ones relative for the 1' signal and 180 what ever it is. thanks for your help. I downloaded the new pc links. tried them all but its the same on all. Still no spark to. LOl im lost. Thanks for your help though im gona take it to an auto sparky see if they can pick it. Thanks

I was running an igniter. The standard ca18det factory one. And i still have no spark? Im lost. Thanks for your help though by the way. Also why is it when i plug my link into the computer to tune it i dont have alot of options it says i do in the link tuning manual. For instace on the lemv5 tuning module menu under ignition heading i can only see on the computer screen the option zone ignition i think it ws. I cant seem to find the other options like dwell etc. Its the same for other options to. I can only view a few options and can hardly edit anything. Am i missing something there that will stop the spark. Thanks

I have a ca18det in my datson 1200 and ive got the link wired up and all. Just with the spark part i go to the igniter and i get less power coming out then going in because i get no spark at all the charge is so low. and yes there is 5 volts going in which is required. so its broken i got told. So was wondering is it possible to set up some sort of sparking system with out an igniter on my ca18 run off my link. Cause im finding it real hard to get another igniter. Thanks for your time.
