  1. I have an older V3 Link G1 and I am now converting my ignition timing vales into a new computer with 12 zones instead of six. I was wondering where the numbers shown for each zone correspond to. FOr example, if the tuning module shows 30 degrees for zone 3 (80-120 kPa), do I have 30 degrees at 80 kPa, 120 kPa, or perhaps in the middle of the zone (100 kPa)? The zones are so broad that the timing values can vary quite a bit depending on how I interprett where in the zone my numbers apply to. -Matt

  2. What type of o2 sensor should I use to autotune my ECU. Also, I have the handheld controller and just need to know how to wire the o2 up. I have a five wire Bosch LSU 4.2 I use with my LM-1 but the manual shows a schematic for a three wire o2. (Two for the heater and one input to the white harness wire). Please explain.

  3. My engine is tuned fairly well but there is one glich as I start it. The motor will sputter a bit and usually shut down unless I press on the accelerator a bit. When I do this the motor will sputter less and less until after 10-20 seconds the idle smooths out and everything is fine. It acts identical to a carb motor that has been slightly flooded. It's almost as if if dumps fuel in when I turn the ignition on and then I have to clear it out by opening the throttle for a bit. I have a pre link plus G1 with a hand held controller. I suspect either my crank fuel or 100 & 105 zones are off but tinkering with them didn't seem to get me anywhere. The clmap setting is at about 35 kpa. Any ideas? Also, this might be a dumb question but do higher crank fuel numbers mean more or less fuel? RIght now mine is set to about 40. Thanks, -Matt

  4. I should clarify that I have a pre LinkPlus model (not sure which exact version) with a master fuel and zone fuel range of 0-99. I noticed through this forum that the Link-Plus units have settings from 0-255. I am upgrading the injectors because I will be upping the boost and was close to maxing the injectors out as it was.

  5. I have the motor tuned pretty good with a master fuel setting of 34 and the zone fuel numbers varying between 40-50. I am upgrading my injectors from 490cc to 788cc. I have a tuning module and a wideband datalogger but am looking for a little guidance on where to start. Any ideas on how much lower I should set the master fuel so that I'm not running way too rich to begin with?
