  1. Hello

    I have a 1jz gte with a link g4+ xtreme .

I'm a bit confused about the injection rate setting for a multiple-group injection mode .

in my understanding we should have 6 injection events in 1 operating cycle in a 6 cylinders engine.

so for a wasted injection mode  every injector drive assigned  should be activated every 360 degrees ??

    Thank you in advance

  2. you've got the coils wired incorrectly.  Wire them:

    IGN1 to Coil 1

    IGN2 to Coil 2

    IGN3 to Coil 3

     IGN4 to coil 4

    IGN5 to Coil 5

    IGN6 to coil 6

Your firing order table is correct

    from the help file:

    Same goes for the injectors:

hello i did all the above

    the engine isn't starting

do you think the problem is in the trigger setup ?

    Hi zilvia44,

firstly you have two faults with your setup.

One is the Engine Coolant Temp sensor at 5 volts.

The other is the TPS at o volts or shorted to ground.

Both of these errors need to be rectified, especially the ECT as your rev limiters are based off ECT

Your Fuel and Ignition tables are also altered via the ECT trim tables etc.

The TPS needs the 0 volt issue rectified and you then must carry out a TPS calibration.

Your ignition main tables has very strange settings in the high vacuum areas.

I have modified your ignition table to a more respectable base table.

Please rectify these issues and remove and clean the plugs.

Download my file to your ECU and see how you go.

Thank you for your help i really appreciate it .

the fuel and ignition tables are still untouched

i got this base file from the link base maps library

i only changed the injectors and ignition mode + tps ,map , ECT    and TRIGGERS.

The engine bay is  still incomplete .

there is no radiator nor intercooler ..

my goal for now is to start the engine successfully  .

    Thank you in advance .

  3. Hi zilvia444,

    You need to terminate the ignition and injector outputs as  1 to 1,  2 to 2,  3 to 3, 4 to 4, 5 to 5, 6 to 6 etc.

    Then the firing order should be set as 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4,

If you have wired them the way you have the software firing order will be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Then the software firing order will be set as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

    Regards

    Dave.

    hello

i terminated the ignition and injector  outputs as you listed above ,

    after changing the wiring to 1 5 3 6 2 4 the engine started but sound like a 2 stock engine  ?

    i am really confused .

  4. Hello

Thank you all for your replies

The engine started today after correcting the firing order

The coiills where set in the wrong order.

    My bad

But the engine sound like a lawn mower ?

The firirng order is set in the following order:

    1 5 3 6 2 4       coil 1 to spark  1.  coil 2 to spark 5.  coil 3 to spark 3 . coil 4 to spark 6  . coil 5 to spark 2 and 6 to spark 4

    Same wiring for the injectors

    Ill upload my file

    Thank you in advance

  5. Hello

today i purchased 6 toyota yaris coils and installed it with the correct wiring .

I tried to start the engine  .

    it failed to start.

    ignition setup is correct .

i did an ignition test , everything seems to be working correcty.

    i did a trigger calibration.

    Firing order is correct

NB : the engine was starting fine on wasted spark

    Thank you in advance
