I tried that. I doesnt make a difference.

Hi,

i have an g4 plug in ecu in my evo.

suddenly my fuel pump just start to go when battery is connected and the ecu i not powered up.

what i found is that as soon the battery are connected and without any power on the ecu it grounds all of the aux output. also what is strange is when this happens (the pump runs) i switch on ecu the pump stops for 1 sec and then starts again in prime mode (2sec) and stops. and will be stopped until i turn of either ecu ore main power supply.

i tried different outputs and only one i named fuel pump at the time.

the relay is hooked up like this: 30 and 85 to positive. 86 as a signal from ecu. 87 to pump positive.

and for the record i have checked earth and power supply cables.

i fear the worst scenario now, broken ecu. could anyone give me a pointer here?

Hi, i have an racepak that i can activate one cabel to what ever i want if any faults. This cable gives +12v. 

Could it be possible for me to connect this in to the link G4 storm plug-in ecu and use this signal to for instance do fuel cut. (I want a fail safe mode if my oilpressure drops in a spesific rpm range.)

i run two fuel pumps on my link G4 storm. And i want to stage the one pump.(make pump nr2 start when for instance when rpm ecxeeds 3500rpm ore controlled by TPS.) Does the software support this? If yes, how to do?

You need to make sure that the is only one output assigned as fuel pump.

If two are assigned the same function one will not work.

To help we need to see the file exactly as you are trying to use it.

OK, i tryed disabled all outputs and assigned one output to fuel pump. I have also tried different pins, aux 5-6-8-1 has Been tested. All of them act in the same way.

I have not checked both signals while cranking, but if any help the car starts fine with fuel pump direct on 30 power.

Correct about aux 1 for fuel pump. I Know i can only use one, but this pcl file you got was only a test with allot of different stuff. 

 

Im sure what you mentioned now is not the problem.

are there any general settings ore an file that can be transfered in to the can setting for iq3 on the link g4? 

i have some deviation in the readings between racepak dash and ecu values. 

if there is no file to insert what kind of values should the can settings be?

i have an built in G4 storm in my EVO 6. 

I dont Get any signal out from any of the aux outputs, it only works when i choose to use the test function. Then i got both high and low signals. 

I want to controll fuel pump. 

When its all hooked with relay controlled by low side of ecu  it wont prime ore anything, also tested while cranking

Can anybody give some tips?
