  1. I was thinking of the injector wiring backwards and maybe I'm still wrong please help... Are all the injectors tied together and supplied with 12+ volts and then individually fired by a signal ground? What would the draw back be of splitting the signal wire off and sending it to both injectors (for each cylinder) and just controlling the main power to the injector. I could have a DI input switch setup so when it is off fuel table 1 is active boost table 1 is active and my gp output for relay that controls gasoline injector relay is on. Then is DI switch is on fuel table 2 and boost table 2 is active along with the gp output for the Methanol injector relay. Maybe this isn't possible, I'm looking to set it up so it is seamless and can switch on the fly. Is this possible or will I have issues?

  2. I looking to do a dual fuel system on a v8 engine with sequential injection. My thought is I would set the injector grounds up through a relay, I would have a switch that would trigger the relay for the set of injectors ground the switch would also toggle between the fuel tables. The plan would be to have methanol and gas, I could street drive on gas go to the track and warm the car up drive to the line, do the burn out and switch the fuel table, injectors, and boost table with the switch and be in race mode. The biggest question is can I kill the injector ground with a relay to switch between injector sets or is there a better way?

  3. Well it runs!! I'm not sure if everything is right or not but when I lock timing to 30 deg and check it with a light its right!!! I'm not 100% sure what I did today to make it run it seems like I tried everything last night. Anyways I attached the Trigger Scope and PCL file. I ended up setting crank to falling rate and had to set cam sync to Halls/Optical I couldn't get any RPM to show with cam set as a reluctor. Anyways still alot of work left but atleast its going. Thanks Adam for the help!

  4. I use a window tablet for a dash on my car and it would be nice to have some soft touch on off buttons and maybe even momentary button option to add to the screen. I control fans with the ecu and turn the water pump on with the ecu if I had a quick soft touch button I could turn things on and off with that would be very nice. It would also be nice even with a laptop we could have a diagnostic page with momentary buttons so you could quick test and make sure boost solenoid clicks of fuel pump runs and so on. Then maybe down the road something could be done with soft touch on real dash. This would clean up need for extra switches and wires a guy could even have a nitrous purge button or line lock ran with the tablet.

Oops I see this was already posted.

  5. Hoping to fire this up tonight or tomorrow!!! I ended up using the Holley crank trigger, Msd cam position sensor, Holley tps sensor and I'm running heat sink LS coils. I have a wideband hooked up for each bank, driveshaft speed sensor, oil pressure, coolant temp, fuel pressure, IAT, and map. It's going to be crazy to actually get some data on this car, I have been going at it very blindly. Maybe someday I will get rid of those carbs, my doctor says I should cutback on them.

  6. I'm making some changes on my drag car and want to do it in a few steps. Currently it is an NA carbed tunnel ram setup with MSD 7al ignition. I'm hoping to switch and use the Thunder ecu to control ignition and take care of the data logging for now and then eventually evolve it into a fuel injected forced induction deal. I'm planning on using the Holley 36-1 Crank trigger( https://www.holley.com/products/ignition/crank_triggers/crank_trigger_kits/parts/556-113 ) Along with the MSD Cam Sync (https://www.holley.com/products/ignition/distributors/cam_sync/parts/85141) and a set of LS Truck coils for now. Is there anything else I would need to get this fired up using the Thunder to control the Ignition? I do plan to add several other sensors but is that all I would need to get it up and running and is there better options out there for Crank Triggers and Cam Syncs? Thanks for any help.
