[Solved] Adjusting "warning" level for digital gauge

Thom

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have searched for this through the help files with no success.

When setting up a Digital Gauge, there is no mention on how to adjust the level past which the data will be displayed in a red background colour.

The closest I think I have found to this topic was adjusting the values in the "Fault Settings" window, but it made no difference, and my EGT digital gauge keeps displaying in a red background even when EGT is below 500°C...

Thanks.

Hi Thom,

to be honest I have never tried to have a digital guage change colour at different warning levels.

I know that it is possible to setup the warning colours, like orange and red on Bar and Dial type gauges.

EG : I have my PYROS setup on 1 page as bar graph with the settings as follows

Visual Settings = Manual

Minimum =0.00

Maximum = 1200

Small divisions = 4

Large divisions = 5

Low yellow line = - 1.0 (minus)

Low red line = -1.0 (minus)

Decimal places = 0

High yellow line = 700

High red line = 900

Dial guage for my pyros are setup with the same values.

Hope this helps

Regards

Dave.

Thanks Dave.

Yes I know it works for a Dial Gauge, as explained in the Help files, but surely there must be a way to adjust this with a Digital Gauge as well, as when I'm not Online the gauge shows a black background...?

Thanks.

Hi Thom,

I was very brain dead yesterday, the joys of recovering from a double stroke.

If you go to the Parameters TAB on the left side of the screen, below ECU Settings, Log File Manager etc.

Open the parameters TAB go to the Analogue input etc you wish to adjust the warning values for, it is all done here for your digital gauges,

Regards

Dave.
