stewart battersby1436215442
My engine fan is also the A/C fan, is there a way to pulse a transistor to run the fan at 1/2 speed, then run at full at high engine temp? Or should I just get a big resistor to run in series with the A/C fan? Looking forward to the closed loop O2. 'Stew.
ashesman
It turns out that you actually want the fan to run full speed when the A/C is on otherwise you will get poor cooling.  Why do you want to run the fan at half speed??? There a combinations of conditions for GP outputs that could be used to run the fan as A/C and engine temp fan... stewart battersby
The fan is loud, it turns out a resistor is available to run in series from Davies Craig, so I'll wire that in for A/C only. The G3 , once I got my old mechanics head around the "computor nerd generation" instructions, works an absolute treat! I get enquiries about it each week, maybe I can sell and install one for profit soon! Please don't take offence at "computor nerd".
