Guest |695|
I have finally got my wiring done, ECU set up and have got the car started for the first time... However it seems the ECU is reading the voltage incorrectly from the LC-1 wideband controller. The ECU is reading a much lower voltage than the LC-1 is putting out and is therfore showing the AFR as being ultra rich, which it isnt. The voltage at idle( high idle) coming from the LC-1 is running approx 2.2 volts, the ECU is reading approx 0.7 volts. Does anyone have an idea why this would be happening? rayhall
The LC1 does not have a sensor signal ground. I relies on the all the wiring in the car to get a ground back to the Vipec. Run a wire from the LC1 ground back to the ground out on the Vipec. This is why the NGK AFX meter is better as it has a dedicated signal ground. Also has a sensor that is not effected by heat. Ray. Guest |695|
Thanks Ray, Moved the ground to the same lug as the Vi-Pec grounds and all seems to be working.
