Peter Snowdon
G2 linkplus on Rover V8. I have tried 3 different sensors with all having the same anoying issue of sometimes varing .3 to .7% feedback at closed throttle.. Would it create a problem if I switched the feedback off/on through a throttle micro switch?
Peter Snowdon
I should have added that I only use MAP for throttle enrichment and with TPS removed idle works great but I do miss the needed fuel cut with it disconnected what I propose is a change over switch on the throttle ov for idle & 5v for non idle. Kelvin Glover
Hello Peter - we have had the same problem with an older vehicle which runs an separate trans ECU and it is giving us a small feedback. This vehicle was undrivable when cold and dyno runs showed varied mixture between runs without any changes. We found the TPS would fluctuate up to 1.7% and the ECU was sometimes giving acceration enrichment. To overcome this I altered the TPS lockout in the idle menu, the TPS deadband in the acceleration menu, TPS threshold in the overrun fuel cut menu. With a bit of fine tuning I was able to overcome the problem and the car now runs sweet. Another little trick I did was reset the TPS with the variance held on, Eg I held the throttle on 1.7% when it asked for the TPS closed while calibrating the TPS. Not the best thing to do but if it works and doesn't cause other issues then its a good thing. Good luck and I hope this has been helpful. Cheers
