It is not locked but you have to know what you are doing and write the whole CAN config from scratch like I did in the file above.  What do you need to modify now?

Thats what i was guessing, can't modify one.

perhaps ill try and make my own.

    oke thank you again Adam,

Try these.  I have also added a few other channels that are included in the latest ecu firmware, Ethanol content, traction, cruise, antilag, launch status etc.

You will need to update to the latest ecu firmware for these to work but dont bother unless you need/want them.

I have added sport mode, so that should work.  I have set it up as an alarm message on the dash, you can set that up how you like.

    Thanks Adam!,

why cant i modify the can stream on the display side? is it locked ?

  3. So i setup the ecu, and dash all workes fine but...

i want to add a signal for showing a message on the screen (sport mode) think programming that is not a issue.cant find a way to add a ID on racestudio tot the link MXS.

    Hope this is clear

The knock retard is visible in the Cylx Knk I-Trim runtimes, the reason it doesn't show up in the main ignition angle value is that the retard numbers are typically cylinder based rather than overall.

    oke thanks,

    my guesses are right then

  5. So i was making a log and my eye fell on this.

i setup the knock controle system, to retard a max of 2 degrees, it detected the knock, log sow -2 knk ign trim

But the ign angle is still the same as the table. does it indeed subtract 2 degrees ? but its not on the ign angle in the log?

see this picture to make it clear.IMG_3873.thumb.jpg.f3e44f7f6c8944211a883be5cbbe2126.jpg

I have an expansion connector coming out of my g4+ and I’m using a  genuine link oil pressure sensor and I have connected them the following way.

Expansion loom: Ground - Sensor Ground

    Expansion Loom: +5v - Sensor 5V

Expansion loom: analog input 8 - sensor signal

    That should be working !

  7. Remski, that what i am trying now. ill post the result.

I am literally having the same issue! when the ignition is on its reading 100KPA and when i turn the engine over its getting 0KPA?

on what input do you got it? you need to use an volt input for a pressure sensor.

  8. Yes i used the search function.

I have a Bosch ntc sensor, for oil temp. i want to connect it to a Vipec plugin for the mini cooper.

wired a 5v to the sensor and to the an temp 3 pin. ( is this correct ? )

    only get max value.

    what am i doing wrong?

    Thanks

  9. is it possible of making a map which cuts fuel and ign for the first 5/10 seconds when starting the engine for first time in a while ?

the idea is to build up oil pressure before the engine starts.

i was think of using the GP rpm limit table. ect and "engine running time" on axis's. then set te rpm limit to 0 .(see picture)

    Linkg4+ plug-in (r53 mini+)

    r53 turbo conversion.

    dear regards,

    Rens
