So far I have had good luck with these sensors. I've been using the serial data with an old school serial to USB adapter into the laptop for logging with COBB or Romraider. I've always had good agreement between the factory O2 sensor, the AEM wideband gauge, and the logged AEM wideband data.

can lambda controllers faster than older wideband controllers, i was thinking the same as you, but i changed my mind after buying a can lambda controller.

    Thanks for your reply!

The AEM devices I have are both the older style (not X series). I was originally planning on using the 0-5v wires that come out of each gauge, but like you mentioned they do also spit out serial data that I could use instead.

I downloaded the file from the Volvo pump thread and it looks like it works fine at 500k.

i used older style aem wideband with g4x but it read wrong, i bought can lambda controller, for example can lambda controller read 13.4 aem read 12.2 i don't trust them

other than i'm using bosch combined pressure temp sensors for oil and fuel, i love them

I just had to fix this last weekend. I set both driving and driven speed source to the same input and it worked immediately.

it's working now, thanks for the tip :) i set driven speed same source

by the way, i'm using pd type otg adapter, real dash works on the tablet and can be charged at the same time

  4. hi,

i'm using haltech wb1 with my g4x, i guess lambda sensor goes(reading about 6 at wot) bad and i want to change it

    haltech wb1 came with 0258 017 169(5 wire) numbered bosch sensor i want to use 0281 004 821(6 wire)

does it matter whether the sensor has 5 or 6 wires, as long as there is a resistor in the socket?

    Regards,

  5. Yes, my wheel speed is working on Pc Link.

Gear indicator is working on real dash.

i'm using your uploaded zip file setup, i tried to stream wheel speed but no success

  6. Hi

i connected real dash to my g4x. Everything is ok but i can not set speed, i don't want to use gps i want to use calculated speed but i did not success yet,

how can i calculate speed? (i choosed calculated values, speed(gear indicator ratio and rpm))

  7. when i  change target lambda 0.95 shaking is gone, probably my fuel pump is bad

my injectors are stock yellow ones, but i want to change somethinng different like bosch or id ones

for example when i set my target idle at 900rpm, car is working about 950rpms, like about 50rpm higher, i didn't understand

  8. hi,

i installed my g4x and i'm happy with link, car is stock engine(impreza gc8 v6), when hot car is shaking on idle,

my tuner set idle 1000rpm when fan is on, there is no shaking, but normal idle is shaking, i changed plugs and coil but didn't change anything

and something about 3000rpm car is shaking too when car is at (no boost) i remembered this problem is also oem ecu

i'm using can lambda, bosch iat, and stock v6 engine

my tune and little log are here,

  9. hi

    i installed my wrx6 g4x on my gc8,

first i hooked up bosch iat no problem(an temp2), second bosch ntc sensor for oil temp(an temp3)(from oil plug)

now i want to install bosch combined pressure temperature sensor but i don't need temperature from combined sensor

if i hook up directly an volt5 for pressure will i be ok ? or do i have to connect temperature pin?

if i need to confirm myself i 'll hook +5v, ground and an volt5 right ?

  10. thanks for the clarification, i'll look wiring difference,

when i look haltech wb1 manual it says connect lambda controller ground to battery ground,

if i connect directly my can port, does this ground difference cause a problem or our can port ground same as battery ground? (i do not want to look my ecu with multimeter)

  11. hi,

i'm making can loom for lambda controller, my board is v1.4 wrx6x  but can wiring is not listed,

    is this sequence right ?

and for example if i use another brand lambda controller(for example haltech wb1), can i use same way like link can lambda(directly connect from can port)

  12. hi,

i want to connect my aem wideband to my link g4x v6 impreza(i want to hook it temporarily until i get link can lambda kit)

i'll use analog inputs that's ok but which cal table should i use ? if i use lineer cal tables will i be ok ? if ok, i'll enter 0v and 5v lambda

    regards,
