  1. Hello
I remembered a situation similar to yours in engine.
I had a 2.4 engine, with the oscilloscope I checked the crank sensor waveform.
This waveform was deformed around 5000 rpm and there was an error in the ECU.
I replaced the harmonica pulley with another one and the defect disappeared.
I think this is caused by the vibration in the crankshaft of these 2.4L engines.

  2. Hello everybody
It would be better to use a hall sensor rather than reluctance.
Attached is a photo of my c20xe engine.

  3.

    Hi
I've had this same problem on every car I've tuned. Evo 5-6-7-8 and 9
And as if the throttle butterfly moves and only after a few moments the injectors work, this generates hesitation in acceleration. I was never able to solve this effect, on the track it doesn't make much sense, but on the street this effect is quite noticeable.
Solving this since 2008 with a lot of desire to get it right even in Vipec times.

  4. The car has no Ethrottle and an Evo 9 usa.
Copy the information manual page and what Aux -4 is enabled to work.

In serial ecu 46119 v.15 auxiliary output 4, which should change the speed of the electric fuel pump does not work.
This information does not exist in the manual Mitsubishi EVO IX.
I lost a few hours of service until I found out that it didn't work.
This information if present in the manual.

  6. I do not have dune 4x4 and I do most of my tuning are made roads.
Adjusting PID this way is almost impossible. For this reason give up trying to do closed loop system.
But I used Motec, Autronic, etc.
As tuning described above in the previous topic and always worked a lot.
I do not think it is right to adjust a maximum boost of 150Kpa in my car, and have to put in the protection limit table 300 kpa so there is no engine shutdown when the turbo wakes up to approximately 4000 rpms.
It generates a peak of seconds of a pressure with values close to 190kpa.
    Already grateful for the attention.
I just think I got no answer on my topic.
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil there are 10 evolution from model 5 to 10
most of them are installed by Vipec.
And now I started a project to put a Fury on an evo 10 with 6 gear mechanical shift.
Still in time if you have a closed loop table using a solenid grimm speed, it would be of great help to everyone.

Once again thank you very much

  7. Turbo Pressure Control
I am working in open loop with a turbo pressure set to 150kpa, and in the map limit table I have to put 300kpa.
To prevent the car from being cut off fuel.
It would not be ideal to have a table to adjust over boost margin
and another to adjust over boost timer.
    I'll be one that way
    Limit pressure to 80C - 160Kpa
Over boost margin - 20 Kpa
Over boost timer - 5 sec.
Sorry about my English, and I'm not making anything new just by remembering Ray Hall.

  9. Hello everyone
Check the vacuum line and pressure on the fuel pressure regulator.
Check the master fuel control on the fuel table, see if it is not small.
And lastly if you changed the fuel pump, check the voltage drop on the supply wires, especially the tank cover for the wires inside the pump tank.
    Sorry for my English.
    Augusto.
