  1. Hello Adam, I had to reduce the dead times to about 0.86 for the engine to run at 0.95 lambda. I then reduced the target lambda to 0.85 and it got there within a second or so. It is better, but Idle still feels rough. When I accelerate the engine to higher rpm, let's say 2000 and let go of the pedal, the engine can't get back to idle. It runs at a higher rpm see attached log file. I have to turn off the engine and restart again in order to idle. I tried many times, as soon as I hit the pedal, it won't idle. it stays at around 1700rpm. TPS target 3.5% when it should be around 2% at idle. I am wondering if I have triggers 1 and 2 set up correctly. I did a trigger scope and based on the waveform, I think I have the correct trigger mode - Subaru V7-10 (JDM), but I am not sure about the polarity. I could easily switch the wires when I was wiring the engine. Could you check and let me know what you think. How can I tell if the polarity is correct. I also tried to calibrate the triggers and the engine runs much better at 20 degrees rather than 10 degrees. Not sure if that is a clue. Before locking the calibration at 10 degrees the engine timing is all over the place. A lot of information here. Sorry for the long post. I am attaching all three trigger scope files, engine log file and map. Thanks for your help. 2. Thank you Adam and Vaughan, I will give it a try. Thank you very much
  3. Thanks Vaughan, Looking at the data, I think you are correct. PW does not get below 2ms. I am afraid messing with multiport injection is outside my comfort zone at this time. Wouldn't I accomplish the same by changing the dead times to see if changes the PW and AFR? Thanks Surge
  4. Thanks for your reply. I thought the number were a little high, but that is what I got from the injector supplier. Attached is the injector dead times Thanks Surge

    Rich Fuel Mixture

Hello There, Hope someone can help. I am having a hard time getting the engine to run at a normal fuel mixture. No matter what I do, I can't get it above 11AFR or 0.7 Lambda. I tried reducing the master fuel from 13 down to even 3ms, but AFR only gets to about 11. At the lower master fuel value, If I try to accelerate the car, the engine sputters and quits running. That does not happen at the higher master fuel value. Below you will find details. I am also attaching the latest log and map after I added a rail fuel pressure sensor. 6. Thanks for the reply. My understanding is this DBW engine is actually from a 2004/2005 JDM Forester. It does have the 2 AVCS sensors at the back and the single cam sensor at the front of the engine. They are all 2 wire sensors. See attached picture. Thanks again.
  7. Hello there, New to the forum. Purchased a 2005 JDM WRX engine with DBW and Single AVCS. I am in the process of configuring the engine with a G4X Fury ECU. The engine is equipped with 2 wire camshaft position sensor and 2 wire AVCS position sensors, which are for what I understand reluctor sensors. I am using base map V8 JDM Xtreme plug in as a reference, but it shows trigger 2 as a hall effect sensor, which usually are 3 wire sensors. I also looked at the V7 / V9 Xtreme base maps and they all show hall effect sensor for trigger 2. Should I change trigger 2 to reluctor type and keep trigger mode to Subaru V7-10 (JDM) Any information would be helpful. Thank you
