  1. Excellent, I will make some changes to the PID and keep an eye out for that oscillation in the future. Ah that makes sense, it is a 90mm throttle body on a 1600cc engine so I have had to do a bit of work to get the idle that low (its a dummy engine for a 2L cammed one later). I will check that the throttle can actually close smoothly, raise the idle target and maybe get a bit more aggressive with pulling timing to get to the idle target rather than using a really tiny throttle opening. As usual great help Adamw!
  2. I have recently been able to go on the first decent test drives of a new ECU and engine setup and I have had a couple of DBW faults that I don't understand. I have searched them on this forum and most say to check the Aux 9/10 supply, which you can see from the log is solid as. I am using the recommended GM Throttle settings from the Help file and its a genuine GM LS3 throttle body (although it has been welded to, so I should double check for the blade binding). Basically the first part of my drive seems fine but I am getting warnings pretty soon after starting the car about the driver IC being over temp etc, and then finally a couple min in it went into DBW limp mode. A quick power cycle and the car was fine for the rest of the drive (~15min) although I did refrain from giving it too much WOT. Looking for more things to test, next on my list is lowering the max DC to see if that helps with the heat etc although I saw in a post on here that the TB should only be pulling about 2A so that shouldn't be a big problem. Checking the TB for anything mechanical going on, and of course asking for help here!
