    Fan Testing

When I was testing no. I was testing the aux output from the ecu. I can connect it to the relay box and see if it triggers correctly. What does it mean that they are pulled up to 12v?

    Fan Testing

I just tested the wiring with Low selected. I'm getting a ground signal regardless if test is on or not. Both on Inj8 and ign7

Thanks for info. Does that mean you can't have the ecu trigger be positive rather than a ground, like you can on other Aux outputs? I will go back check it today.

Thanks for the response. My issue is I don't see anything on the multimeter on Inj8 or Ign7 when I turn the test on. I want them on high, but I checked low side as well. I don't see any response from the ecu on the respective output wires. Thanks

    Fan Testing

Apologies if this is a very basic question, I'm testing wiring and sensors on my Xtreme ecu. I've set up the fan control, but turning on testing will not trigger the relays (2 fans). I've lowered the temp to under the ambient temp and I still can't trigger it. Am I missing something?
  6. Thanks everyone for the input. Originally I was using vr30dett throttles but fitment of 370z throttles was better. Even though the plugs are the same the wiring is different. All working now.
  7. That's a good point, there is a right and a left side throttle. Part numbers are definitely different I'll have to check what I can find for pin outs. Does the tps tracking error on the throttle that was working mean it's bad? The automatic calibration worked just fine, then the fault pops up. Or it's it a bad setting?
  8. Hi all, I have dual Q60/370z throttle bodies I'm using on my 300zx. On the xtreme ecu I'm using the internal controller and an external controller to control them. At this point I have 2 pairs of the throttle bodies (4 in total) and during the setup, only one of the 4 throttle bodies shows correct TP values. Meaning that the main and sub signals move in opposite direction when the blade moves. The other 3, the main sits at 5v and the sub shows 0v. I was able to calibrate the pedal and the TPS on the working throttle body, but I keep getting a TPS tracking error even after automatic TPS calibration. I have the same issue on both plugs on the harness and the other 3 throttles show 0v on the sub regardless where they are plugged in. At this point it seems like all 4 e throttles are bad, but that seems like pretty bad luck. Is it possible I have something set up wrong? I did order another used pair to compare what happens. Any input is appreciated Thanks,
  9. On the 300zx the factory sensor goes in the valley of the block. Is there a better place for the sensors to monitor each bank, maybe either side of the block?
  10. Hi All, I'm in the process of wiring up my Xtreme ecu. My plan was to replace the factory Knock sensor with new link sensor. Is the 2nd knock input for another knock sensor? Is there a benefit to having two sensor?
  11. Thanks! I had an incorrect diagram. Voltage testing looks good now. Using these two e-throttles there isn't a need for a an ISC solenoid right?
  12. I'll test based on that diagram. I have confirmed the motor pins, will confirm the remaining
  13. I believe the setup from left to right is: Motor +, Motor -, Sensor ground, TPS Sub, TPS Main, 5V. I was testing the movement in both TPS 1 & 2.
  14. Hi All, Im in the process on putting together my setup, which will be a dual e throttle on an xtreme ECU. The vr30ddtt throttles are that size I was looking for so I purchased a set. However, I was testing the throttles with a 5v source to verify the the TPS signal is a 5v sweep but it doesn't seem to move. TPS 1 shows about .9v and TPS 2 shows about 4v with no movement if I manually move the throttle blade. Is this normal and can these throttles be used with the link Xtreme? Thanks for the help and sorry if these are stupid questions.
