Hi there, love my Link G4 Xtreme as it does everything I need of it at the moment hence my reluctance to drop a few $k on a shiny new one. Appreciate these legacy ECUs are no longer getting firmware updates so this is a long shot but here goes…
I’ve noticed moving between winter and summer months that my idle solenoid base position table needs updating to get clean, consistent starts. I need to run a significantly higher duty cycle in summer months and vice versa in winter months (see attached). I’ve also noticed the engine wants more duty cycle for a heat soaked start.
An ideal solution would be to make the idle base position table configurable as a 3D table. Personally I would then use IAT on the 2nd axis and would adjust the base duty cycle accordingly. I’m not sure if this is offered in the newer ECUs or not but would love a firmware update for my legacy product to accomodate this.
Alternatively, if anyone is aware of a workaround that effectively gives me another dimension to work with (like an overlay table for example) I’d be super happy to hear about it.
