  1. I recently switched to a fore fuel pump controller and it needs a voltage input greater than 6.5v to activate.  I was using ign 8 output as a ground signal to control a relay for the fuel pump but now I need a 12v signal instead.  I switched the ign 8 to active state high but it does not output 12v.  I am guessing this output cannot send 12v.  The only other Aux output I have is Aux 2 which I am wondering if that could be used for a 12v output.

    Thanks

  2. I have a DCT transmission and when I upshift I have the trans module (DKGecu) send a shift cut signal and I am wondering what people recommend.  Do I cut fuel or ignition.  It is a Turbo application and the shifts are fast 50ms.  I am thinking if I cut fuel it will run lean and could cause detonation and if I cut ignition I have heard of damaging the turbo from the unburnt fuel igniting in the turbine housing.  Just looking for input.  I have been using ignition cut for a while but wondering if I should be using fuel instead.

    Thanks,

Ok, I have found a setting that is labelled incorrectly.  The setting that is labelled "Cut Period", should actually be labelled "Max shift time", this setting is used to prevent say a failed gear shift switch from causing a gear shift from staying active forever.  So, set this to about 500-1000ms should solve your problem.

Thanks Adam!!  It works perfect now.  I appreciate the help!

  4. Could somebody help me check my settings for throttle blip.  I have gone through everything and I must be missing something that will allow the throttle blip.  I have downshift for DI7 which is from the DKGecu for the DCT transmission.  The trans control module sends the signal for the correct amount of time I just need to set throttle blip % in the Link but I can see the DI7 being activated but no throttle blip.  I attached my file if anybody can check it out an see if I missed something.

    Thanks

  5. Hey Adam, I just figured it out. My map was set to all zero and I think it was jamming the throttle plate closed.  Adjusted it to 5 in the cell it was sitting at and it is now fine with no faults.

    thanks

  6. Finally got the E throttle all setup and both the APS and TPS sensors are calibrated and finish successfully.  As soon as I turn the E throttle from setup mode to ON it throws fault 70 for E throttle 1 MIN %DC limit it says there may be something restricting the throttle plate or the wiring to the motor has been disconnected.  I don't know if there is something I need to change in settings to fix this but wiring is all good and everything calibrates just fine.  My MIN is set to -90%DC, I tried going up and down 5% but nothing changed.  Please let me know if anybody knows how to fix this.

    Thanks

There are a couple of other circuit mods needed also.  It would be best to return to Link so the waranty remains intact, if you are prepared to lose the warranty then I could give you some instructions.

I am fine voiding the warranty, I have an event on April 23rd and don't think I have time to mail it in and get it back in time and tune the car.  If you have the instructions I will attempt it.

    Thanks
