I have just purchased a evo 2 gsr running link g4+. The car stalls itself if you don't keep the revs high. When driving its fine but soon as I slow down for example to go over a hump it stalls. Have to keep the revs really high so it doesn't. Spoke to the old owner, he said the issue started after fitting link ecu and getting a tune. What can this be?

Thanks for the reply now I know its definitely map related.. it is going to a tuner next week to get tuned, I couldn't get the car to start so I can take it there so will be getting it towed. I did try the normal basemap from the link files in the ecu and have similar result. Hopefully the tuner can sort this out

Hi I have a evo 2 gsr which I am having trouble starting. (The car is on a basemap, i was told the tune was tweaked on idle) I'll need to crank it about 8-10 times for it to start. Once it starts the AFRs will be on 10s even when warm and sounds really rough/ like a miss fire and bogs/cuts out when I accelerate. Also it keeps fouling the spark plugs/flooding the engine. mods are: 2.0 long rod, kelford 280 cams, K20 coil on plug, hks cam gears, kiggly hla, rc1000cc injectors, custom mani, Pulsar GTX3576r turbo, 38mm gate, swirlpot set up with 400lph aeromotive pump, aeromotive fpr etc. I have uploaded the file on here. Will appreciate any help evo2map.pclr
