Hello everyone,
Since the install of the NS13X in my 1995 Nissan Silvia, my tuner has been unable to get my idle right. Idle is extremely rough and does not get better when warm. It's spitting out large amounts of fuel from the exhaust and fuel is getting into the oil as well. The tune under load/boost is great, AFR's are good and the car runs strong.
My tuner is doing it remotely and we have been working on this for months. It seems he's now given up as he offers no input and sends me tunes with minimal changes that make no improvements. He's one of the most highly rated tuners in the country and all the tuning shops in the area use him to tune. I'm just trying to confirm that his tune looks OK and if so, then I need to start looking deeper into other possible issues.

It should be fine yes. I've run up to 1A off of the power on CAN2 without issue (different application ecu, but 26mA isn't anything I would be concerned with).
Thanks for the confirmation. I figured it would be fine as 26mA is very little.
Cheers

I am wiring up a WiCAN MeatPi adapter and was considering powering it via the built in 14v output on CAN 2.
What's the safe current draw that I can run on this voltage output?
The WiCAN uses 26mA at 14v; is this safe?

Thanks for the insight, I'm going to work on the timing and see if that does it. I've always had issues using the timing light on the SR20, seems the timing wire Nissan left on the harness doesn't always work great with my timing light.

did you sync timing with a timing gun ?
Is this possible to do without the car running?

I'm sure this is something you pro's will easily be able to figure out.
Upon first installing the NS13X on my stock 1995 Silvia S14, the car won't start.
It appears to crank a couple of times than stop abruptly. I initially thought this might be due to a weak battery as I am seeing the batt voltage drop quite a bit while cranking, but I've tried a new battery and see the same thing happening.
I ran through Links article titled "My engine won't start" and everything seems to checkout. I'm not certain my trigger scope looks like it should as I'm not sure how to analyze it.
I'm using the stock harness, and stock coils, CAS, stock everything, etc.
I've uploaded a few logs, as well as base map and trigger scope and a video of the car cranking to my Google Drive.

If anyone could give me some insight that would be much appreciated!
My tuner cant fix my idle

That did it!!!!
I can't believe it was that simple of a fix. That makes complete sense now. It looks like that's a default setting in the basemap that neither myself or the tuner thought to change.
I'm sure glad for your help, thank you so much!
