  1. Thank you for your quick response. I am not sure I understand how to setup brake and tail lights with your explanation. The water pump picture was very helpful and allowed me to setup the water pump control. I have a way to go to be able to test the water pump strategy but based on the picture you sent it looks correct. Attached are my updated files. Jim Jason PDM 6.pdmc Jason 2JZGTE.9.pclx
  2. I figured out most of the setup to get the Link G4x Fury to communicate with the CAN Keypad and the PDM. A few questions left to answer. I have used all of the available CAN Functions and have CAN AUX 1-8 working. Output 1-4 and ADIO 1-4 I am using AIDO 5 for Tail Lights, AIDO 6 for Brake Lights, AIDO 7 for Underglow lights The Brake Lights will be accuated by DI-8 on a ground side switch. How do I command the PDM for that? The Tail Lights are controlled by CAN Keypad Button 7 and turn on Aux4 through CAN DI 2 How do I connand the PDM for that? Underglow should be the same setup as Tail Lights I would assume. (That is the least of my concerns) Last question: I had the water pump running on the G4+ Storm through timer 1 and timer 2, Virtual AUX 1 and Virtual AUX 2 on a GP Output on AUX 4. The G4x Fury seams to have a different setup for Virtual AUX. Can anyone help me imulate the same setup from the G4+ Storm into the G4x Fury? I feel like I am very close to wrapping my head around how everything communicates. Thank you for any assistance and I hope this helps others. 3. I am working to setup a CAN Keypad and a PDM on a customer drift car. I need some help with the setup. Setting up a lift pump and pump 1 to run on a high side output on Output 1 Setting up pump 2 to run on a high side output on Output 2 Setting up pump 3 to run on a high side output on Output 3 Setting up a water pump on a high side output on Output 4 Setting up a start/stop button on the CAN keypad to send a high side output start signal to the starter on ADIO 1 Setting up a two brushless fans the PWM signal only on ADIO 2 & 3 Setting up an Accusump solinoid valve on ADIO 4 Setting up tail lights, brake lights and underglow on ADIO 5,6 & 7 Output 1-4 will be controlled by the Link G4x Fury ADIO 2 & 3 will be controlled by the Link G4x Fury via PWM (The highside of the fans will be connected directly to the battery) ADIO 4 will be controlled by the Link G4x Fury via Low side switch to feed oil to the engine and turbo to prime the system prior to startup. I would also like to set up a table to feed the engine oil if oil pressure drops below a predetermined level. ADIO 5 will be controlled by the Link G4x Fury via DI 8 on a ground switch signal. Still working on a plan for ADIO 6 to control the headlights and tail lights from the CAN Keypad. (Ideas gladly accepted) Also working on a plan to control the rear underglow lights via the CAN Keypad. (Ideas gladly accepted) PDM file and Tune file attached. 4. That is very cool! I am learning somthing new every day! Thank you.
  5. I just tested the system and all three buttons work with the CAN DI set for each button. CAN DI 1 and CAN DI 2 show in the Run Time Values as Multiple and CAN DI 3 shows as Simple Button 3. A have attached a tune file, log file and PDM file for review. The log shows each button being activated. I don't understand what casues the Multiple issue to be present. Can you shed some light on that issue? Thank you again for all your assistance. Xtreme Rx8 ECU Ethrottle cal6.2.pclx Test Button 1,2,3.llgx rx8 setup 1.3.pdmc
  6. Thank you for helping me get this setup correct. I have button 1 on the keypad setup for the start function. With this in mind, I have moved the fan override to button 3 on the keypad. Did I do this correctly? I also saw that I had mutiple functions on button 2 which I am using for E-throttle table switching. It appears that Simple button 2 needed to be set to None rather than CAN DI 2. Is this correct? I assume based on no changes made that the RR Wheel Speed Sensor on ADIO5 on the PDM is setup correctly. Is this correct? I have attached revised PDM and Tune files with the changes I made. I am struggling to wrap my head around CAN in general including the CAN Keypad and the PDM. I am just now starting to understand the digital dash. If you have any further education materials available for the CAN Keypad and or the PDM I would be grateful. Thank you again for your assistance. rx8 setup 1.2.pdmc Xtreme Rx8 ECU Ethrottle cal6.2.pclx
  7. I have not got the car together enough to test the wheel speed sensor yet. While bench testing I can't get enough wheel speed to show a reading in the Link g4x ecu while logging. I can however get a very clean signal on the oscilloscope. Would it be posible for you to attach a tune file and pdm file to show that example? The keypad will be controlling mostly ECU stuff. Keypad will be controlling mostly ECU stuff.
  8. Hodgdon Extreme, Thank you for this information. Sorry for the late reply. I am new to world of forums and just now saw your reply.

  10. I am working on setting up the LInk Razor PDM to work with the Link Xtream ECU. I am having trouble wraping my head around the communication protocol between the two. Can you help me setup the final details for the viarable reluctor RR wheel speed sensor and the fan control. The fan controller is a Spal brushless with a built in temp sensor. I only need a 12 volt trigger to have the ECU turn on the fans while running the A/C. Also if you could provide a CAN Keypad example for manually tuning on the fans that would be very helpful. I have attached both tune files for your review. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Xtreme Rx8 ECU Ethrottle cal6.pclx rx8 setup 1.pdmc
  11. Can the Razor PDM pick up vairable reluctor wheel speed sensor frequancy and send the data to the G4x ExtremeX? If so what is the arming voltage required to provide a signal? I am currently picking up three of the wheel speed sensors via DI 6 through 8 in the G4x ExtremeX but the arming threshold is 1.8 volts and the wheel speed needed to get to 1.8 volts is 22 mph. I would like to pick up the wheel speed at a much lower speed if posible. I am wondering if the Razor PDM will do it.
  12. I was just spinning the hub by hand to test. Is there a way to change the threshold?

  14. I am trying to get VR type wheel speed sensors to work on a Link G4x extreme. When reading the sensors on an oscilloscope, I get a clean reading of .8 volts to -.8 volts on a Pico scope. When wiring the LF wheel speed sensor to DI7 with one side of the sensor wired to DI7 and the other side of the sensor wired to sensor ground, I get no signal. Any Ideas? rx8 Wheel speed sensor.psdata
