ecu plugged in and connector unplugged, will have to check again as it might have been reading kohms so 40 ohms

saved this by accident. ignore the an volt 2 error I had unplugged the omp seeing if could test the output circuits, before turning off and removing the harness to check that way as didnt get anywhere that way

hi Adamw, I havent touched any of the timing, only changes were setting the direct fire, switching fuel temp to oil temp, switching map sensor to link 4 bar and lowering the master fuel.

 

Ive attached one of the logs but unsure if did it right, idle is high as no thermowax and throttle body needs tweaking as was off another vehicle, idle valve has since been turned down. it kind of idles but any small throttle input and it stutters

also installed the can lambda which im assuming is working correctly as was found and setup as the canbus setup instructions but again have made no changes to anything lambda wise

Having the same issue, get a warning that omp has not reached speed and limited rev error/warning

when trying to configure the omp have two conflicting setups one saying to set 5-8 as cl stepper and an volt 2 as stepper position and another setup as setting to rotary oil pumps. either way I dont see any differences in the output for an volt 2 the figure just stays the same when switching between open and closed

 

pin 8 and 9 / aux 5 and 6 have a resistance of 0.040

pin 21 and 22 / aux 7 and 8 have a resistance of 0.040

 

on the wiring harness mine is wired as

+5v , unused, aux 6, 12v, aux 5

an volt 2, gnd, aux 8, 12v, aux 7

Hi, currently got the car running idle is a bit high and a little rough running could do with a little help to just get the car running and able to get it to a MOT test and dial out any issues before eventually being mapped by someone else.

Specs wise single turbo running direct fire smart coils and injectors are now 950cc/2200cc Vs the stock 550cc/850cc and also fitted the link can lambda, have followed the guide to install and setup in the can screen but changed no other settings

The only fuel setting I have touched is the master fuel which is currently 10ms

The map sensor has no connector so will get one ordered and a canf connector too. 

For the can lamba can the switched live come off the ECU or is it a case of having to find an ignition wire and do the wiring as per instruction diagram.

 

ECU apparently has no map on it, so will just be the base rx7 off the program

Hi, I'm after some help. Recently acquired a g4+ for my series 6 rx7 and have some questions

It has the extension loom with bare wires and a second black plug.

I bought a can lamba and sensor and have a question on wiring.

Can all the wires be connected to the small extension loom? Or does it have to be wired a different way?

 

I've no idea what the plug is for it's wired to di6 

 

Also have the 4 bar map sensor can this be just plugged into the original map sensor plug?

 

I had a little look on the software (not connected to ECU) and couldn't work out how to change the injector sizes, primaries are now 980cc and secondaries are 2200cc. I have the deadlines for them.

 

Not looking to map it myself but would like to be able to start it and move the vehicle under its own power till it can be mapped properly
