Hi all, I am currently have a 2g dsm with an Evo 8 link engine management ECU. I am getting a miss fire and I want to pull up my engine codes to diagnose. The problem is I called the tuner for a walkthrough and he mentioned that the car was tuned on the previous software update and he wasn't sure if hooking up my laptop with the new software would update it and lose the tune. Any insight into this? Am I okay to just hook it up or is there an auto update feature to disable ect?
