Hi there
I'm just trying to figure out what input and outputs I need before purchasing an ECU for a classic car, which will end up turbocharged.
Most probably going for a StormX at this stage to keep a lot of options open for the ECU to control for various cooling fans and auxiliary cooling pumps etc
Makes sense to me for everything to be controlled from one place as opposed to a number external controllers that need to be mounted and usually end up going bad anyway.
Question about the CAN Lambda.. as my engine has two banks of cylinders, I would like to keep an eye on the two banks individually from a lambda perspective.
Would I be correct in understanding that if i was to run a dual CAN wideband like the Haltech WB2, it would still only take one input channel into the ECU, or would it be two of the eight? and being CAN, would that be of the digital inputs, or analogue?
An old brain trying to learn the new ropes
Regards, and best
