Hi,
I just upgrade to the new FW for the i-series ecu. I’m trying to setup the gear shift control but I have some questions.
Down shift Digital input: OFF -----> I still see the overrun down shift options but I assume this is not working if I set Down shift Digital input to OFF right? What to do with all the overrun Down shift setups?
Blip End Mode, I can’t set this option to OFF but if I don’t use the Down Shift mode do I still need to setup this? I still see Blip response time setup for this option in the menu.
I’m using for End shift mode the timed option but I can’t find anywhere also in the help file what the table is using for time. Is it in seconds or milliseconds?
Driven up Shift Fuel trim: Is this like the old FW in % extra fuel per gear? The old FW you can set till 50% extra fuel but in the new FW you can set a value of max 25. What will this value be ms of % fuel?
Thanks,
Dolfo

Dave,
This is only possible in pc logging not in ECU logging right?
Thanks, Dolfo

Hi Dave, I have a question about the log screen you posted above. I see it a V serie ECU with the latest firmware right?
My question is: how did you get the "AFR Target (AFR) in that list. I don't see it in my logging list, is it possible to add this to the logging list in the V series ECU's?
Thanks.

Simon, can you break down the logic for me to use a timer in this setup?
I will give it a try at the next race to see if there is any extra delay in the cut.
Thanks.

Hi Simon, thanks for your reply! That's not ideal if it will cause a delay to the cut response. Is there any other way to accomplish this? Is this maybe an idea for the next firmware upgrade where there is a delay before next shift cut signal in the gear cut control.

Hi, I’m looking for a setup for a minimum time between gear changes for gear cut control (V44 ECU). I want to prevent false triggering on the gear cut. Right now sometimes my bike double shifts when press/depress the shift button. I’m thinking with virtual aux with timer or something like to get some delay before next shift. If I push the button twice that it will prevent the bike to shift again. Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks,
Dolfo

Thanks for clearing that up. I will finish setting it up and go out to give it a try so I can see how it works.
