Hi Simon, That fixed it. Just shows you never assume anything, this is a MY90 Gtir but needs the 94-02 jumper settings. I should have also read the pinout diagram more thoroughly. Thanks for your help.

Hi. Just installed a plugin unit into my GTiR MY90 I have hooked up the Vipec and managed to get the car running, but I have an issue with the Fans not turning on at any temp or even manual toggling the AUX 1 output from the VTS. The only symptom It seems is if I toggle the Engine Fan output Signal on, the Cat Temp Light on the instrument cluster lights up instead of toggling the Fan relay. (that is consistent and repeatable) I have 12 volts to the the Fan relay which has tested good and continuity all the way back to the ECU on Pin 9 (Which is the listed AUX 1 Output on the Vipec install software). Pulling my hair out. Dave.
