Thanks for the reply. I have an EVOLink (IX) in my Evo IX, but I can't get the speedo or taco to sweep when I set them to 'ON'? The other is Anti-theft, I don't believe this will communicate with the Mitsubishi ETACS unit?

Loving the look of the new website! Would it be possible to add some info in the help file with respect to the features (i.e. Taco sweep, anti-theft, etc) and whether they work with each PNP ECU? If the feature is compatible, maybe have some nominal settings to get them working? So far I'm really impressed with PCLink and the taking the HPA course (with 3 months membership) seems to have been a great investment for $99 to really get to grips with the software and setup. Looking forward to posting some more stupid questions....... everyone has to start somewhere, right?!

I did start typing a response, and then ended up finding even more info in the help file when I was looking for something else..... It appears that ALL the I/O is available, so the paper version of the manual that shipped with the ECU is wrong. Both expansion ports can be used, which is great news. My lower board is an EVOLINK (IX) V1.5, the upper board serial number sticker says V1.4 So to have an alternate ignition or VVT map on a switch, I need to enable dual fuel? Copy the tables across and modify the one I want, such as ignition? I'll have a play with the Virtual Aux, as that sounds like what I'm after for something else.... Got it unlocked yesterday, next job is to figure out why the AC fan is running constantly, then I can go for my first start!Â

Edit to say I've found that I can Latch [Toggle] the input, but I can't see how to use the input to change to alternate ignition or fuelling table(s) and/ or to activate dash lights, etc?

Is there a diagram with a FULL pinout of the Evo IX PNP, the manual only shows 80% of the pin outs/ functions? Are both of expansion ports available as part of the new/ current Firmware, or is it only AN Volt 6 (Expansion port 1) that is available?? Also, is it possible to use an existing input, such as the IC spray switches to switch maps, or activate a feature, by toggling the switch action in the ECU and flash out the IC spray light (same a Tephra modded stock ECU)? There doesn't seem to be a 'search' function to the form which would help avoid the same questions being asked, sometimes? If you use Google, etc, LINK brings up a load of unrelated sites ahead of the Link ECU forum results?

Thank you for the reply, I'll rewire the LED in that case  That was another query; the expansion port. I have the lead with all 8 wires, however the manuals say that only 'An Volt 6' is available, all other inputs are listed as 'N/C'? Is there a FULL pin out of the Evo IX PNP ecu showing all of the standard connector pins, as well as the expansion connector, as the manual only lists about 80% of them? Â

I'm about to install a G4+ PNP into my Evo IX and I'm trying to program Aux Ign 7 as a GP Output (or Shift Light PWM) to activate when RPM> although the advantage of GP output is I'm thinking about programming cond 2 for Knock detection to power an LED on the dash. I need a high side driver, but there isn't an option (that I can see) to select low or high? If I change the use of Ign 7 to something else, like engine fan, I have the option to select low or high side? Would I also be correct in saying that although there are 2 expansion ports on the board, only one port can be used and out of that port there is only 1 usable analogue input (6), the rest aren't available and none are available on the second expansion port? Sorry to resurrect an old thread. Can anyone recommend an iOS based app and adaptor to use the OBD II function with a G4+ PNP? It's for an Evo IX, but I doubt that makes much difference! Ads
