  1. hey please try this file in the PDM if this works, ill sort the outputs to control the lights on the buttons, thanks PDM32 asm Greyhill CAN Heag.zconfig
  2. Hey just wondering if any one has already written a CAN file to suit the Bosch Motorsport abs? all the info is in the manual from bosch wanting to run it on the same can network as the can-lambda thank you!
  3. Interesting I think your right onto it there Adam, it would often idle find if you gently bring the blade closed where as if you blip the throttle quickly so the blade closes fast it seems to do it worse. It’s a near new throttle. some kind of deadband would possibly work but it’s also interesting it didn’t do it when the throttle was brand new (maybe 5-8 hours old now) and also didn’t before the firmware / alternator change so possibly something did get damaged in the throttle or something is a little more sensitive in the idle loop? will just run this one in open loop and use idle ignition control instead thanks for your help
  4. hey. defiently related to the closed loop idle control if i turn the integral to zero it idles fine, if i turn it back to open loop it idles fine, if i run any more than 0.02 integral idle is eratic and slightly better at 0.01 then perfect at 0 or open loop, any ideas what setting i may have wrong for this to happen? thanks! intergral 0.01 to 0.03 then 0.llgx
  5. Yeah i just can’t seem to pinpoint what’s telling it to move, I thought it was the feed foward table but that hasn’t seemed to have changed the issue. I did change back to open loop idle control but it would still do it in open loop it would seem to chase around 4% tps value when coming back from a throttle blip and then hit target of 1.5 or so then suddenly go to like .9 and shut the engine down I was idling all ok with open loop and idle ignition on before I did the firmware update - but we did also have an alternator fail morning after firmware update as well
  6. hey yes we were fidling quite abit so had a few faults there it doenst log any faults idling then even when on track but still the DC for the e throttle will randomly become erratic at idle attached a better log engine stall after stable idle.llgx
  7. hey post firmware upgrade seem to have an issue with the e throttle, also seem to be having a dc output issue on one of the AUX outputs running a bosch 82mm throttle body MIGHT not even be related to the firmware update but was all working OK before. car will start and run OK cold then after a while idling OK it will start to hunt, then eventauly when you start it will stall itself quite keen for any one to have a look over the logs or setup and let me know if they can spot anything, driving the car everyhting is OK just seems to be idle related AE86R 013 idle issues try new feed foward table traction test.pclx
  8. Yeah so with just the 120R in there is goes down to .9v and then rises to 1.7v seems like when I increase the resistance it does make the voltage high and low wider but then doesn’t drop down Low enough to below 1v Is there a way to calculate what resistor to try? I’m thinking 120R has the voltage low enough but then doesn’t quite get high enough so maybe try 140R or 150R? Because you go to 240R the voltage doesn’t drop low enough
  9. Hey! sorry forgot it resets to AC every time you turn it on! this is with 12v input and 120R to ground on the signal 120R to ground 360R to ground (3x 120R in series)
  10. Tried it on 12v and can get a larger voltage difference from high to low, but still nothing on the link?
  11. Hey! I’ve managed to get these to work on the scope but just not seeing enough voltage change to see a signal in the link think? using the 8v output for signal then 120R to ground on the DI seems to hold the voltage at .80v when not rotating the wheels and .9v change when rotating with two 120R resistors in series holds 2.4 v when not rotating the wheels and 1.7v when rotating any suggestions? Maybe use a 12v input to the Sensor? Or try a different resistance to ground? GT86 wheel speed sensors on a link g4x extreme changing settings in the ecu doesn’t seem to make it work
  12. Hey! been chasing this for a while, feel like there must be a simple setting there thats holding it up! i need the idle acuator max clamp to be like 16% for it to idle cold but when i blip the throtle the e throttle is staying at 13% (where i had the max clamp on this log) if i change the max clamp to 10% the problem goes away but if i set it to 16% its gets worse itll just sit at 13% on the e throttle and 2500rpm for as long as you like and not return even though throttle pedal is closed see the logs it makes more sense. any help or things to try would be awesome! the e throttle works ok other than this and will idle fine if you dont blip it,
  13. Hey! would just like to say a huge thanks to link and Adam! Systems are all up and running now and the help Adam have me with the motec keypad put me on the right path and have just got almost all the functionality working on the keypad! very very happy with the fantastic support link provides!
  14. awesome ill try that and see if it wake the keypad up, any chance you could look into the link to aim can transmit stuff??
  15. haha at least your honest! MOTEC_Motec keypad_@20220201_032340_009826.xc1
  16. Hey adam did you get a chance to look at this??
  17. Hi adam thats ok, i have attached the right file. as for keypad have had no help from aim they basically say send the keypad to them and they might get around to it. i cant find hardly anyhting online about it either we dont need all the fancy logic at this stage just simple on or off logic and maybe one status led saying its on, i watched a few videos online but still struggling to get my head around writing my own can for between the link and the AIM when you say a while off for the keypad on the link are we talking months or a year? ideally we will keep the motec keypad as it fits perfectly would be a shame to have to re-mount the aim style one. thanks for the help! ill keep watching how-tos! 18. HEY! we have a link xtreme, we also have a aim PDM32 ive got the dash CAN working but i have a few extra details i need to send over CAN can you help me with the can setup side? also trying to get the racegrade (motec) 15 button keypad to work on the pdm32 if anyone has ever managed this? from the link to the pdm i need to send: Fuel pump control on off fan control on off e throttle relay on off crankcase pressure then from the pdm to the link if i can ever get the keypad to work boost table up and down e thottle target up and down pit limiter switch qualify switch Many thanks for the help! 19. hello we have a link v5 with electronic boost control running link ignitor and 4agze coils wasted spark, a cam angle sensor, it was wired and started first pop ran perfect on a tune from the previous 4agte it had, while idleing a fuel pump seized and it ran out of fuel (it has not yet been driven) we fixed fuel pump and now it will not start at all, hot or cold, no matter what you do with the cold start value, it will not start hot either, we removed the cas and spun it around by hand and all the injectors are fireing and it has spark, once we did this it started straight away and ran perfect , but then when it went to idle it idled then as soon as the rpm dropped below 1000ish it died straight away, not cough and splutter and die , it just died, then wont start again, we have checked the cranking voltage and it is stil above 10v and the cranking speed is 200rpm, all the injectors appear to be working fine, it seems like the crank angle sensor is faulty so we replaced it with one we knew was perfect and it still does the same thing, any ideas would be greatly appreciated , we are at a dead end really, and it needs to be running for dyno by the weekend you can contact me on 0277575167 if it is easier cheers Ryan Heagney
