but how come in the manual book for my computer it says its capable of being pluged in to the laptop via seriallink?

hello guys i just want to find out if my vl link is compatible with the seriallink so i can hook up a laptop to it also how much is a hand controller for my link? and who deals with them in melbourne appart from AVO? here is my link details on the chip inside it says VLCOM5 27MAR01 and theres a little sticker also saying VL15 thanks for your help?
